06-22-10:Chase logs are all complete! Go take a look, there is much to see! Chase season is winding down, but there is still allot happening including one last major severe weather day tomorrow. Once chase season slows down I will have lots of other content to update!

06-20-10:Chase log from 6-10-10 is up. Beautiful supercell and 2 tornadoes in Colorado!!

06-19-10:Chase log from Thursdays deadly tornado outbreak has been posted. Incredible pictures and video! This one took priority over the other logs and I will be working to get those up ASAP as long as more chasing doesn't come first [not that I would complain!]

06-18-10: I have a whopping 7 chase logs to catch up on, including an INSANE day in Minnesota on June 17th that included long track, violent wedge tornadoes. To see what is coming check the 2010 logs page. More chasing looks probable in the near future too! I need a break!

06-15-10: I have 5 chase logs to write from June 8th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th! There will be some good content in each of them so watch for them soon! Its been one crazy year!

06-06-10: Chase log from Saturdays insane chase across Illinois is up! Tornadoes near Peoria, and damage in Dwight. Check it out. Also, the site editor has switched to a new "updated" version which I absolutely hate. If things look a little funky around here its because I am ripping my hair out trying to make it work the way I want it and I apologize for any inconvenience.

06-02-10: Took a day and played some major catch up. All chase logs from 5-21, 5-24 and 6-1 are now posted along with some new images at the bottom. There is still much more content to come from this insanely active year, but things must slow down first!

[Somehow a huge section of update archives in between 5-8-10 and 6-2-10 was LOST! Ugh.]

05-08-10: Chase log from 5-7 will be posted later today. Some wicked core punch video will be featured!!

05-05-10: Created new contact form! Contacting me is now easier than ever so don't be shy! Moved the chaser links page under the Education/Resources tab, also moved the Update Archive under the About tab. It makes the homepage a little less cluttered. Other than that I have been gearing up for some active chasing!

05-02-10:Chase log from 4-30 is up. Strong storms rip a roof off a building. Also, the forum has bit the dust.The amount of spam requests I get were ridiculous and the admin login would not except my password. Have lots of photos to update, radar images to add and some other content. It looks like things may slow down now so I may be able to get some of that other content up.

05-01-10:Chase log from 4-29 is up! Another tornado for the year! Chase log for 4-30 coming soon. My attention is now on the potential outbreak down south, which unfortunately I am not there for.

04-26-10:Chase logs are complete. Go read about the tornado fest in Texas!!! Also new blog will be posted. 2010 has finally woken up!

04-25-10: Chase logs from 4/21, 4/22 and 4/23 are in the making! Stay tuned, lots of great pics and videos including a new record number of tornadoes seen in one day for me!!

04-13-10: Nothing too exciting to report. Added some new radar images and am working on gathering some material to do a write up for the large hail event in Chicago on 4-5. If you or anyone you know has pictures or video and would like them featured please contact me. Other than that things across the whole country are very slow and boring...2010 = FAIL.

04-06-10:I have just returned from 3 days of chasing. New chase logs coming soon! One will feature some pretty intense wind footage and the other will have all sorts of goodies from good structure to hail to damage. Stay tuned!

03-28-10: Can things get any slower around here! UGH! The good news is mother nature might finally wake up once April rolls around. New blog posted with more details. Might get rid of the forum, not because it is a ghost town, but I'm getting too many spam requests and I don't have the time or motivation to deal with it.

03-12-10: First chase log of the 2010 season is up! Check it out!

03-09-10: Rearranged bulletin boxes in order of greater priority during chase season. Also begun using new established color table to highlight upcoming chase plans, for more info on that see the tab in the 'About' section. Updated media licensing info.

03-07-10: Added a new section under the "About" tab titled "As seen on:" This just lists some of the networks some of my material has been shown on over the years. I've recently signed a contract with Dryline Media to be a video stringer, so there may be some minor changes to the Media Licensing Info once that all gets ironed out. The weather has been slow and boring, not just here but everywhere. 2010 is certainly not off to the start I was hoping for.

03-04-10:HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO AEROSTORMS.COM! While major updates have been a bit slow I just wanted to thank those who have visited over the first year. The site went through quite a bit of change since then. That will not stop. 2010 has been a pretty boring year weather wise. If you know someone in your life that has any interest in the weather, please spread the word! This sites success depends on the amount of visitors it gets. That means YOU! Thanks again - Adam.

02-25-10:New Radar Image and new blog. Keep in mind I don't always announce when a new blog or new Image is added, so it never hurts to check for those. I Merged the Write-ups section with Education. Also divided up the links and Advice section. This should separate the content better and hopefully give each section more visibility. I also did it to reduce the number of navigation buttons on the side bar as it began to look cluttered. I may also merge the chaser links section with it as well, but held off for now. March is 3 days away!!

02-18-10:MAJOR UPDATE!!! I have added a discussion forum to the site! It will centralize on Chicago's Weather, but will cover everything. So take a peak and don't be afraid to start up some discussions. I decided to experiment with the idea and we will see how it turns out. Obviously it will take some time to get going, so don't be turned off by a low member count. At the very least, you can talk to me! Ive never ran a forum before though, so if certain things wont work its up to you to let me know.

02-16-10: I have returned from Chasercon! What a trip that was, blog has been posted. Photos are on facebook. Also, big news in the launch of ConvectiveAddiction.com! I have been hard at work on this site with other IL chasers, so check it out by clicking the button above! Added a new tornado photo as well. I have allot of post-Chasercon stuff to take care of and things around here are busy.

02-08-10: Tornado photo album added! Changed photo and video pages to fit within header borders, this should make things easier to view. I will be traveling to Denver this week for Chasercon 2010! Site updates will halt during the trip. I may post a blog or two for documenting purposes. Chase season is getting closer!

02-04-10:Major updates have been slow, Ive been cleaning up typos and fixing other minor imperfections I have found within the site. I am also gearing up for the trip to Denver for Chasercon 2010! I look forward to the trip. Also, long range models are keeping us locked in a very cold pattern so there is nothing for me to look forward to weather wise. Dear march, please hurry!

01-15-10: Lightning photo album is now available! A page dedicated to my former chase vehicle has finally been made. A new blog has been written as well, the GFS model has been showing some interesting things for the remainder of the month that has the community in an early chasing buzz. El nino may start revving up the 2010 severe weather season very soon!

01-12-10: Changed up the local events tab once again. Added sub menus to separate thunderstorm logs and more detailed event logs. Had to change the word 'events' to 'logs' due to character limit on the buttons [space is needed for the arrow.] Lightning photo album is finished and will be made available on the next update in the coming days. I will also be changing the album thumbnails to a set size that will better fit the page.

01-09-10: Social networking tabs have been added! Just click to find my site related profiles. Only network profiles that are oriented towards this site are shown. Personal profiles are not linked. More may be added in the future.

01-08-10: Snow chase log now up. Check out the new Misc chase logs section! Also added a new local event for 6-24-09 and renamed the tab to "Chicago Weather events." I added a store tab although I doubt there will be anything for sale in there anytime soon. I wanted to get an idea for how the menu bar would look. Some other updates will be in the near future including social networking buttons on top. Lightning photo album also coming soon! I told ya, there is always work being done around here!

01-03-10: Video page has been updated with video from the lake effect snow chase. Site update archive is now available! Thinking about renaming the chase logs tab to "Storm chase logs" and adding a "Misc Chase Logs" tab to cover things such as blizzard, hurricanes, whatever else. Thoughts?

01-02-10: HAPPY 2010! As many may have seen I went on a last minute Lake Effect snow chase which took me into MI. I'm not sure how I'm going to document it just yet, but look for it in the coming days. It was a new experience thats for sure! The only real updates I've done were to add some photos to the winter album and I wrote a blog about whats ahead for me in 2010. With the holidays now behind I can get back to focusing on regular updates again.

12-20-09: Added 4 new photo albums! One in every category. Also added a page with a little more detailed info on this site. I am also thinking about adding a site archives button to the menu bar. That means all these updates would be moved there after a couple weeks or so, that way the newest information is always displayed here, but for those who have not visited in awhile they will have an easy way to see whats been going on. Thoughts? Let me know!
