2-26-09:
2:15 pm - downtown - Extremely heavy downpours, several good CG strikes, brief moment of sleet size hail. Winds turn umbrella inside out
8:30 pm - home - clipped by northern end of line, heavy rain lasting about 5 minutes, couple weak flashes of lightning with distant thunder.

3-7-09:
4:45am

3:15pm - All at home, general thunderstorms with some close CG strikes, loud thunder and moderate rain.

3-24-09:
11:05pm - home. Very quiet thunder, SVR warning issued at 11:31pm for high winds in excess of 60mph

4-23-09:
10:43pm - home - mostly weak, one good flash with a moderate rumble, several other flashes and a CG. Lasted over an hour with some really deep thunder!

5-6-09:
5:12pm - home - Dark skies, moderate rain, distant CG strikes but only flashes as it rains with some moderate rumbles at best. A couple more decent ones around 5:45. Ending around 6:20

5-7-09:
4:50pm - bus terminal - saw one CC bolt, light/moderate rain lasted about 20 minutes.

5-26-09:
8:50pm - home - heavy rain and good CG activity, not constant but the bolts were strong, one VERY CLOSE!!!! Power went out at home briefly during the strike.

6-19-09:
3:45am - home - most strikes to the north, decent thunder
5:30am - home - woken up by loud thunder.
6:45am - home - Woken up again, GR showed cell with hail had just passed
11:00am - downtown - thunder and lightning in the loop most of the day.
6:50pm - home - first rumbles of thunder from an approaching MCC - HIGH WINDS - 11 inch circumference limbs fell off neighbors tree

6-24-09:
215pm: - downtown/home - Sears tower lightning strikes, major tree damage back home with trees on cars and large 7 inch circumference branch on lawn.

7-11-09:
450am: - home - garden storm, brief heavy downpours, lots of thunder but nothing insanely loud. hail up north.

7-15-09:
4:45am - home - long weak line, listened to storm roll in for almost an hour, lots of lightning but no close CG with moderate steady rain.

7-16-09:
6:15pm - home - severe warned popcorn storm, sub severe winds 45mph sent leaves flying everywhere...1 close cg and a weak rumble of thunder.

7-22-09:
4:45pm - home - severe warning up north, nothing here but can hear distant thunder and saw 1 CG bolt while looking out window.

7-24-09:
11:15pm-12:30am - neighborhood/home - arriving home from chase, big MCV to the south sending mostly AC lightning over the area with long distant rumbles.

7-27-09:
12:15am - home - looking out my window watching rain, one flash to the west followed by distant thunder....high wind warning in effect

8-16-09:
1:00pm - home - Decent amount of CG to the north, rumbles here, brief monsoon type rain bringing down lots of leaves.
3:45pm - home - severe warned line segment, decent CG strikes, heavy rain. 1 really loud CG strike

8-17-09
5:20am: - home - lots of good CG lightning and loud thunder.

9-27-09
9:45pm: - home - fast moving squall line with lots of CC lightning with the occasional CG. Severe warned, tornado warned in southern burbs.

10-01-09:
830pm - 1030pm - I55/Fossil Rock Campground - General storms while driving on highway. Anvil crawler lightning with light rumbling thunder at campground.

10-20-09:
10:35pm - home - electric showers out west...looking out window to see one flash, ran up to window to hear low distant rumble. moderate shower moved in 15 mins later.
